It is the Largest island in the Lakshadweep.           Summer season : March to May is the hottest period of the year. The temperature ranges from 25°C to 33°C .           Monsoon or Rainy season : Monsoon prevails here from 15th May to 15th September. The monsoon period raises temperature to the mercury level between 27- 30 degrees.           Winter season : Winter is seen from November to February. The average winter temperature ranges from a maximum of 32°C to a minimum of 24°C.           What to wear : Cotton clothes in summer and woollen clothes in winter.
