Jamshedpur is the largest urban conglomeration in the state of Jharkhand.It was named after the illustrious industrialist Jamshetji Tata and is home to such industrial giants as Tata Steel and Tata Motors. Jamshedpur is located at Chota Nagpur Plateau and is surrounded by lush green forests of Dalma Hills. The city is bordered by the famous rivers Kharkai and Subarnrekha. The banks of these rivers offer the fertile fields and are vibrant with the natural beauties.
