In 1956, Rao Dhir Singh, created the Shahpura
House, once residence of erstwhile rulers and
scion of the Shekhawat clan of Rajputs. The
house has been converted into a hotel. The
traditional Rajput architect, a mixture of
Mughal and Indian, a façade with domes and
frescoes. The House is a very fine example of
Shekhawati frescos and architecture. All
