A small town situated on the plains of Madhya
Pradesh in Central India, Khajuraho houses the
most erotic, most sensuous temple sculpture in
India. Built between the 10th and 11th centuries
by the mighty Chandela dynasty, only 22
remarkably well-preserved temples survive of the
over 80 that were originally built. |
