Meenakshi Temple, Madurai

The original name of Meenakshi temple is Meenakshi Amman Temple. This temple is situated in the city named Madurai which is located in the state named Tamil Nadu. This is one of the largest temple of Tamil Nadu. Recently, this temple has been listed in the seven wonders of India along with the other marvelous monuments like the Taj Mahal.

The Flag of the temple waves in the opposite direction of the wind; there is no shadow of the temple. The main and famous festival of Puri is Rath Yatra.

Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Thiruvananthapuram

If you search the richest temple in the world, the first name that comes up is Padmanabhaswamy Temple. This temple is situated in the city named Thiruvananthapuram which is located in the state named Kerala. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is believed that this temple was built in the 6th Century.

Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Delhi

Lakshmi Narayan Temple is also known as Birla Mandir Temple. Red, Yellow, and Whitestone was used to build this beautiful temple. This three-story temple was built in the early 1900s. The temple is spread over 7.5 acres. In this area, it includes shrines, fountains, and a large garden.

Devoted to the Hindu Lord Vishnu and Hindu Goddess Lakshmi, this temple was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in the 1930s. At that time, Mahatma Gandhi inaugurated this temple on one condition that all castes would be allowed in the premises of this temple.

Sai Baba Temple, Shirdi

Shirdi is a town in the state named Maharashtra. This is the residence of Sai Baba. Shirdi is popular for the temple of Sai Baba.
