Chole Bhature is a favorite dish of every Delhiite. Normally, People of Delhi prefer to eat this mouth-watering dish in the morning as breakfast. The recipe of Chole Bhature consists of a spicy chickpeas curry with a bread made up of flour. When it is served with some chopped onions and mint flavoured chutney, then I am sure you will not be able to control your hands until you finish this dish.
If you are visiting Delhi, and come back without having a dish named Chole Bhature, then you are missing a big thing in your life.
A paratha is a flatbread which is made up of wheat and plain flour.
There is a street named “Paranthe wali Gali'' – Street of Parathas in Old Delhi which offers a wide variety of Parathas to its customers. People of Delhi specially wake up early in the morning to have breakfast on this street.
If you are visiting this street, then don’t forget to step in in the shop named Pt. Kanhaiyalal Durga Prasad Dixit and Pt. Babu Ram paranthe wala. These shops are famous for their innovative ideas with paranthas (Indian stuffed breads).
In Delhi, You can easily find different varieties of Kulcha (Kulcha is a soft round shaped bread made up of flour. It is prepared on a frying Pan or on a griddle.) like Matar Kulcha, Amritsari Kulcha. You can see this dish on the roadside stalls of Delhi where it is served with spicy chickpeas, onion, tomatoes, lemon and some Indian spices. This mixture is served with Kulcha with some chopped Onions.

Delhi is a place which offers a huge variety of non – vegetarian dishes. This delicious, butyraceous dish needs no introduction. There are different types of dishes related to Chicken such as Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala (Chicken Tikka Masala is an Indian dish but it is also the national dish of Britain.), Chicken Biryani, Chilli Chicken and many more.

Kulfi is a desert which every Delhiite (the resident of Delhi) loves to eat after their meal. It is a creamier form of Ice-cream which is made up of full fat milk. Generally, you will find this dessert in matka (An earthen pot) or in a stick(made up of Wood). In Indian weddings, mostly there is a stall of Kulfi.
There are different kinds of Kulfi which is available at the roadside stalls of Ice- cream. Some of them are: Pista Kulfi, Malai Kulfi, Mango Kulfi, Strawberry kulfi and many more.
Well I visited Delhi last year, and tried the food: Chole Bhature. I must tell you that when I had the first bite of Chole Bhature, I experienced a different level of taste. In my trip to Delhi, every morning I tried to taste these mouth watering food as it gave me a fresh start to my day.
