Yoga is one of the most important exercises to improve your health and brain activity. Now a lot of people are aware and have started practicing yoga. They practice yoga at home or take yoga classes from the experts. If you are a novice and want to learn yoga to improve your physical conditions. Then in this blog i will tell you about some yoga poses which you can easily practice at home that will help you become better and stronger. Remember that while doing yoga, move slowly and breathe as you move. If you find any pose challenging then take a pause for sometime and then start again. So let's start now.

No. 1
Child Pose

This restful pose is great for everyone and helps to restore physical and mental energy. It can be done between the difficult poses with your eyes closed which will help you in stress reduction. This posture gently stretches your lower back, hips, thighs, ankles and relaxes the muscles of your spine, shoulders and neck. I suggest you do not practice this if you have knee or ankle injuries or if you are pregnant. Child's pose is practiced by yoga practitioners of all levels.

No. 2
Mountain Pose

This pose is also known as “Tadasana” which is the mother of all poses. It helps you to stand still like a mountain. It is an easy pose but you need to perfect the technique that will transform your entire body. It is taught in every yoga class as it is considered a neutral pose between other standing poses. It increases flexibility of the thighs, knees and ankles.

No. 3
Downward Facing Dog

It is the most common pose as it stretches and strengthens the entire body. Some people even say that “a down dog a day keeps the doctor away.” I believe in this because it helped me to relax my body and relieve my back pain. I always feel very energized after practicing this. I recommend you to definitely do this at home. It is not recommended if you have wrist problems or high blood pressure because it focuses on distributing weight through your palms.

No. 4
Plank

If you wish to tone your body and strengthen the upper body then you should practice this on a regular basis. It teaches to maintain balance on hands while using the entire body. This one exercise has multiple benefits. You’ll experience an increased boost to your overall metabolism and improve your body posture. It can also help you to deal with anxiety and depression and calms your mind.

No. 5
Tree Pose

It is an awesome exercise for the beginners that teaches balance while toning the muscles of the legs. Try to focus on your breath in and out as you do this pose. Tree Pose has physical and emotional benefits. It improves stability in legs and bones of hips. It also helps in building self- confidence and esteem. You will see the difference once you start doing this.

No. 6
Triangle Pose

I love practicing the Triangle pose because it has so many health benefits including strengthening of the core and legs. It can help you increase mobility in your hips and neck. Also it strengthens your back and leg muscles. Stronger back and core muscles are essential for better posture and helpful in reducing the risk of injury. If you practice it daily you will see the positive impact and it can also prepare you to do more challenging yoga poses.

These are some of the poses that I love practicing at my home. We all should take some time for ourselves and focus on our health.
