Panaji is the capital of the Indian state of Goa. It lies on the banks of the Mandovi estuary, in the district of North Goa.Panaji is a well-known tourist center and is known for the prominent churches, which are there in this city. Panaji has a unique character of its own. Though one may not find tall skyscrapers there, the town boasts of having preserved its historical buildings and at the same time it has modern structures.
