Archeological Museum

Located inside Mumtaz Mahal of the iconic red fort, this is a small museum and it takes nearly half an hour for history enthusiasts and tourists to explore it. The museum houses artifacts, old dresses, etc belonging to the age of Mughal era. The museum showcases numerous collections of different weapons, warfare arms and ammunitions and has documented archaeological facts which reveal the manner in which monarchs lived in ancient times. One of the most interesting sections is the beautiful gallery which displays Mughal miniature art and calligraphy.
