Built in 1505 the ancient Gurudwara Nanak Piao is dedicated to the first Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. The historical gurudwara is located at Grand Trunk Karnal Road, NH 1, New, Rana Pratap Bagh, North Delhi, near Model town metro station . Guru nanak Dev ji came here Bhai mardana during the reign of Emperor Sikander Lodhi. Here water and free food was given to tired travelers who rested here in the garden. a well was manifested by the Guru Sahib into middle of the garden and thus th is place came to be known as piao sahib. . Sadhus yogis also used to come here and discuss various religious aspects.
