The meaning of the name of this park is Life Bestowing Park. This park primarily comprises
of two pavilions namely Sawan and Bhadon which are made of marble and named after the
Hindi months. There is a place inside the park known as Zafar Mahal. This palace was built
between the two reservoirs by last Mughal king Bahadur Shah Zafar. The park is located on the
Northern side of Charbagh Garden within the Red Fort Complex very close to the Chandni
Chowk area in Delhi and people in large number throng this park.
