The Moth Ki Masjid is basically a heritage building which was built during rule of Sikander Lodi in 1505. It is now located in South Extension Part 2 which is a popular area in Delhi. It was actually a new kind of mosque which had a square layout. It is open to public all days of the week. Quranic inscriptions are put on the wall in Iranian design and these look truly spectacular. The name of the Moth ki Masjid when literally translated into English language connotes Lentil Mosque.
