National Rail Museum

An impressive collection of at least 100 trains is showcased in this unique museum spread over an area of 11 acres in Chankyapuri. There are dozens of well polished and maintained trains. One of the most alluring attraction of the National Rail Museum is the spectacular Toy train. Not only children, but elders can also board on that. It is a perfect place to spend enriching quality time with the children and explain them all about the historical facts related to our rail system. The museum houses a small playground with many swings and slides for kids. You are allowed to carry your food hampers and have an interesting picnic. You need two hours to explore this interesting museum.
