Punjabi Mela

This distinctive festival also known as Shadee Jor Mela takes place at Fatehgarh Sahib Gurdwara for three days in order to commemorate both Sahibzada Fateh Singh and Zorawar Singh, sons of GuruGobind Singh. It generally starts on the First Tuesday of Chet Month. Numerous colourful processions are taken out. A number of Sikh games exhibiting valour and courage are performed. There is a variety of food, merchandise vendors and vibrant cultural and musical performances. People in large number get attracted and make their appearance for this Punjabi Mela.
