Shakti Sthal

Shakti Sthal is the memorial site of Mrs. Indira Gandhi who was the only woman Prime Minister of India. It is located South East of Red Fort between Mahatma Gandhi MArg and banks of River Yamuna. Shakti Sthal basically connotes Place of Power and strength thus demonstrating characteristics of Mrs Gandhi who led India on trajectory of growth and development. There is no entry fee for Shakti Sthal and the place is open all days of the week. The place is best visited between 5 AM to 7.30 PM.
