Day 01

Arrive Delhi

The tour representative will be there to pick you from the airport or the railway station wherever youll be reaching. From there you will be transferred to your chosen where after putting your belongings you will immediately begin with visit to well-known sites such as Humayuns Tomb, Lotus Temple, Lal Quila, Qutab Minar, Lodhi Gardens etc. In fact Delhi has so much to see that packing everything in a day is just not possible. There are several amazing shopping places in Delhi such as Chandni Chowk, Select Citywalk Mall, Hauzz Khas Village etc. Overnight stay is in the hotel in Delhi.

Day 02

Drive from Delhi to Mandawa

In the morning after taking your breakfast you will leave for Mandawa in a pre-paid taxi. This distance of 257 kms can be covered in 5 and half hours. Mandawa has more than 50 forts and palaces. The havelis in this area are just spectacular. Visit the Snehi Ram Ladia Haveli is the biggest tourist attraction here. Another well-known spot in Mandawa is Harlalka Well. The Marwari community has been responsible for development of the area. Some of the havelis have entry fee and timings. You must check before going. Overnight stay is a hotel in any of these villages.

Day 03

Sightseeingin Mandawa

In the morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Shekhawati villages like Dundlod, Nawalgarh, Mandawa etc. The houses which are present in this area have beautiful frescoes and so the area is referred to as The Open Art Gallery. If you are fond of shopping visit the Government emporiums in Mandawa. You can even indulge in some street shopping. Also visit Castle Mandawa which is a palace converted to a hotel. The place assumes a colorful hue at night. Mandawa was a stopping point for merchants in ancient times. This is the reason why you see art in every nook and corner of the town. Overnight is in a hotel in any of the Shekhawati villages.

Day 04

Drive from Mandawa to Bikaner. Sightseeing in Bikaner

In the morning you will leave for Bikaner in a prepaid taxi. Bikaner is just 188 kms away and it takes roughly 4 hours to cover this distance. On reaching Bikaner check-in your chosen hotel and then step out for some sightseeing. Visit the well known Junagadh Fort which was some spectacular carvings and structures. This fort unlike other forts in the state is not built on top of a hill. It showcases beautiful amalgamation of Rajput and Mughal architecture. Other key places to visit In Bikaner include Karni Mata Temple, Har Mandir, Lalgarh Palace, Rampuriya Haveli etc. Overnight stay is in the hotel.

Day 05

Drive from Bikaner to Jaisalmer

In the morning you will be transferred to Jaisalmer in a prepaid taxi. Jaisalmer is located at a distance of almost 331 kms and therefore it takes almost 7 to 8 hours to reach there under normal weather and traffic conditions. Jaisalmer is a beautiful city with golden hued forts and palaces. This is the reason why it is popularly known as Golden city. You will see strikingly beautiful Jain temples here. Yellow sands, ancient havelis, camel safaris- all add to appeal of this city. You must opt for a camp night at the dunes. Beautiful dance and musical events are organized to entertain the tourists. Overnight stay is in the hotel.

Day 06

Visit to tourist places in Jaisalmer

In the morning after breakfast you will again step for sight-seeing of this Golden city. Start from the majestic Jaisalmer Fort which is one of the oldest living forts in the country. It is constructed out of yellow sandstone and so it is also called Sonar Quila. After Seeing Jaisalmer Fort you must visit different havelis. Salim Ji Ki Haveli is very popular. It has largest number of people living in it. For several years it was the residence of Mohta family. Other famous haveli in Jaisalmer is Patwon Ki Haveli. You can do some souvenir shopping in bazaars of Jaisalmer. Overnight stay is in the hotel in Jaisalmer.

Day 07

Drive from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur. Sightseeing in Jodhpur

In the morning after post breakfast you will leave in a prepaid taxi to Jodhpur which is roughly 286kms away. Jodhpur is known as Blue City. It will take you around 5 to 6 hours to reach Jodhpur. Jodhpur is a popular destination for big Indian weddings. Start the sightseeing with the Mehrangarh Fort which is located on top of 410 feet elevated hill. Then visit Moti Mahal which is located within this fort. Then you must check out Jaswant Thanda which is royal cenotaph built in pristine white marble. Then there is Umaid Bhawan Museum which is one of the biggest palaces in the city built by Raja Umaid Singh. Also, visit Mandore Garden which is just 10 kms from Jodhpur. Overnight is at the hotel.

Day 08

Drive from Jodhpur to Ranakpur. Sightseeing in Ranakpur

In the morning you will hire a pre-paid for Rankapur which is just 162 kms away. Ranakpur is famous for 15th century beautiful Jain Temples. These temples are flanked by people from far and wide. Visit the Chamukha Temple. It is made of white marble and is dedicated to 1st Tirthankara, Adinathji. The temple has 1444 pillars and not single pillar looks alike. There are 20 halls in the temple. You should also go to Surya Narayan Temple which has wall murals dedicated to Sun God. For those who love shopping, Ranakpur is simply wonderful and you will get several items made by local artisans here. Overnight stay is at the hotel in Ranakpur.

Day 09

Drive from Ranakpur to Udaipur

In the morning after checking out of the hotel, you will leave for Udaipur which will just take you about 2 hrs. Udaipur is located at a distance of 98 kms. It is popularly known as City of Lakes or Venice of East. It was founded by Rana Udai Singh in 1559. A must visit place in your Udaipur trip is City Palace. It just overlooks Lake Pichola. The complex contains beautiful gardens courtyards and 11 palaces in all. Another well known hotel in Udaipur is Jagmandir which is basically a palace which was built in 17th century. The area around the lake is extremely happening and is dotted with several cafes and eating joints. Overnight stay is in Udaipur.

Day 10

Visit to tourist places in Udaipur

In the morning again leave for some sightseeing. Visit Saheliyon-ki Bari which is a garden and fountain with a museum located nearby. Then you can visit Pichola Lake which is one of the largest and oldest lakes in the city surrounded by elevated ghats, temples and palaces. Then you can move ahead towards Jagdish Temple which has this amazing Indo- Aryan style of architecture. It is dedicated to Hindu God-Lord Vishnu. Other key places to see in Udaipur are Sajjangarh Palace, Fateh Sagar Lake, and Vintage Car Museum etc. Udaipur is also known to offer very nice shopping. Some popular shopping areas in Udaipur are Hathi Pol Bazaar, Bada Bazaar etc. Overnight stay is in hotel.

Day 11

Drive from Udaipur to Chittaurgarh to Kota. Enroute visit to places in Chittaurgarh

The next stop in this tour is Kota. Enroute you will take a halt at Chittaurgarh. Chittaurgarh is famous for an ancient fort which was built by Bhima- one of the five Pandava brothers. Also visit Tower of victory built by Maharaja Kumbha to commemorate his victory over the Muslims. Then you must check out Kirti Stambh which has lovely Jain Sculptures. After a brief stopver at Chittaurgarh you will proceed towards Kota. In Kota you can visit Seven Wonders Park ( it contains replicas of all Seven Wonders of the world), Garadia Mahadev Temple and Kishore Sagar Lake. Overnight stay is in hotel in Kota.

Day 12

Drive from Kota to Bundi to Pushkar

In the morning you will leave for Bundi ina pre-paid taxi. Bundi is a historical town which is known for ancient step wells and lovely palaces. Visit Bundi Palace and bask in the beauty of its frescoes, amazing murals and a huge picture gallery. Check out Taragarh Fort located at top of a hill. You must also visit Nawal Sagar Lake. Here you will see temple of Lord Varuna which is half-submerged in water. This lake offers water to different step wells in the city. Once you are done with Bundi move Pushkar which is popular for Brahma Temple. Overnight stay is in the hotel in Pushkar.

Day 13

Drive from Pushkar to Jaipur

In the morning you will be transferred to Jaipur which is the capital of Rajasthan. It is just 143 kms from Pushkar. Once you reach Jaipur check into hotel as per your budget. Jaipur is a wonderful city which offers you culture along with modern lifestyle. Try amazing Rajasthani cuisine here. You must visit Chowki Dhani which is located at outskirts of Jaipur. Day 14

Visit to tourist places in Jaipur and Amer fort

In the morning again you will step out for some sightseeing. Try elephant safari at majestic Amer fort. Do not forget to carry your sun glasses and an umbrella as sun is extremely harsh. There are several other amazing forts in Jaipur like Mehrangarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort etc. You should also visit City Palace- a huge museum, Jantar Mantar -a royal observatory which was built by Swai Jai Singh 2, Govind Dev ji Temple and Hawa Mahal etc. If you want to do some shopping visit the famous Johari Bazzar, Chandpole Bazaar, Tripolia Bazzar, or Bapu Bazaar. Day 15

Drive from Jaipur to Fatehpur Sikri to Agra

In the morning you will be transferred to Agra which takes roughly 5 hrs to reach. Agra is one of the most visited cities in the country because of Taj Mahal. Enroute you will take a brief halt at Fatehpur Sikri where you will see Buland Darwaza, Tomb of Salim Chisti and Jodha Bais Palace. After that you will move towards Agar. Taj Mahal is closed for public viewing on Fridays. It almost takes a day to see every nook and corner of this magnificent monument. Other must see places in Agra are Agra Fort, Tomb of Itimad-ud Daulah etc. Overnight is in hotel in Agra.

Day 16

Drive from Agra to Delhi for departure

In the morning you will leave for Delhi in a taxi. This is the end of your Rajasthan India Travel Package which takes you on a journey through various cities in Rajasthan.
