This is a 13 day tour which takes you through a road and rail journey across various villages of Odisha and includes cities such as Kolkata, Bhubaneshwar, Baligudaa, Rayagada, Tatapani, Jeypore and Puri. Starting from Kolkata which is known for its old world charm and encompassing places where time seems to have been standing still, this tour takes you to places where you cannot even imagine that life existed in this way.

Day 02

Kolkata to Bhubaneswar by flight

In the morning check-out from the hotel to catch the first train to Bhubaneswar. The train journey roughly spans a period of 7 hours. On Reaching Bhubaneswar check into your chosen hotel and then rest for a while. Bhubaneswar is an ancient city popular particularly for the Hindu Temple depicting Kalinga architecture, Lingaraja Temple. If history and archeology interests you, visit the Odisha State Museum which is a huge museum with several historical artifacts and a library. At night you can have s nice dinner at the hotel Overnight stay is in hotel in Bhubaneswar.

Day 10

Tatapani to Chilka Lake to Puri

In the morning you will reach the railway station to catch a train for Puri. It just takes 3 hours to reach Puri from Taptapani. In Puri you will first step out to see Shree Jagannath Temple which is an important religious site for Hindu. The Jagannath Rath Yatra is a very important event which takes place just once in a year. Once you are done with temple viewing you can visit the Puri Beach. The beach is on the Swargadwar Road. You can indulge in some shopping here. Overnight stay is in the hotel.

Day 11

Excursion to Konark Temple and tour of Puri

In the morning you can attend the morning Arti at the temple. The temple complex basically comprises of one main temple and 30 surrounding small temple. You must also visit the Gundicha Temple which is Kalinga style sandstone temple again dedicated to Lord Jagannath. Then there is Ramachandi Temple which is a lovely spot located on Banks of River Kusabhadra which flows into Bay of Bengal. If you want to indulge in some shopping visit any of the government or private outlet in the city. You can buy different handicraft items such as coir products, ikat saris, metal ware, sea shell items, papier mache masks, wooden statues, beach umbrellas etc. Overnight stay is in the hotel in Puri.

  • Guide with good communication skills in English during sightseeing will be provided.
  • Pick and drop from the airport & sightseeing according to the itinerary by Air Conditioned Indigo/ Swift Dzire for 02 Guests and Toyota Innova/ Maruti Ertiga for 04-06 Guests/ All these vehicles have ALL INDIA TOURIST PERMIT.
  • All presently relevant taxes.
