: Arrival in Delhi
The Spiritual Varanasi Tour will begin from Delhi, one of the most significant cities of India. After reaching the hotel you can relax and then visit the Old Delhi, here you can see Jama Masjid and drive past the iconic Red Fort and enjoy in the streets of Chandini Chowk. In New Delhi, you will get the chance to visit Qutub Minar and the Tomb of Humayun, Lakshmi Narayan Temple. Later you will be driven past the Parliament House of India, President's House, Secretariat Buildings & the famous Connaught Place shopping centre. The overnight stay will be in Delhi.
Sightseeing tour of Delhi. Overnight train from Delhi to Lucknow
Next morning tour will start from Old Delhi city, you will be going to Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi and also visit the museum built to commemorate him. Later you will be driven past the iconic Red Fort and the buzzing streets of Chandini Chowk. Your next stop will be the magnanimous Jama Masjid, the largest mosques in India and you can also take the rickshaw ride in Chandini Chowk. Afternoon, make a visit to Qutub Minar, the largest Minaret in India and can also visit famous Humayun's tomb. Your next stop will be at the iconic India Gate, the war memorial of unknown Soldiers. Your final destination for the day will be Akshardham Temple, which is dedicated to Lord Lakshmi and Lord Narayana. Late evening you will be taken to the Delhi railway station for an overnight journey to Lucknow city.
Excursion of Lucknow city
You will reach the "City of Nawabs", Lucknow in the morning. The city is known for its sophistication and etiquette and has also been the center of rebellion of 1857. The city is known for its rich culture and is known to have its own distinguish style of cuisines that consist of biryanis and kebabs. In the morning you will visit the magnificent Imambara, the Clock Tower, Jama Masjid, Roomi Darwaza, Dilkusha Palace. In the Bara Imambara and the Chota Imambara you can see the fusion of Turkish and Mughlai style of architecture. Afternoon will be free and the overnight stay will be in a hotel in Lucknow.
Lucknow to Varanasi by train
You will have a free morning and later you will be taken to the railway station to catch a train to Varanasi. After arriving in Varanasi you will be transferred to the hotel. This is known as the oldest living city and is rich in cultural and traditional practices. The Ghats in Varanasi are amazing so you can spend ample of time seeing the Aarti (a ritual) and take a walk at the ghats. Car will be with you but that will be within the city limits. Overnight stay will be in Varanasi.
Excursion of Varanasi city
Your morning in Varanasi will start with the walk at the banks of River Ganges and will be followed by a boat ride. You will also get a chance to see two most famous ghats, the Manikarnika Ghat and Harishchandra Ghat. The two ghats are thronged by the devotees as it is considered to be auspicious to take holy dip here. Many people also come to do the last cremation ceremony of their loved ones here. The rest of the day will be at leisure and you can enjoy the city or simply pay a visit to Sarnath. Overnight Stay will be in Varanasi.
Varanasi to Agra by overnight train
This morning you will have some free time in Varanasi so you can enjoy your day in walking around in the streets of Varanasi or visit the famous Banaras Hindu University. In the evening you will be transferred to the Mughal Sarai railway station and board an overnight train to Agra. Overnight will be on board.
Excursion of Agra city
After arriving at Tundla station you will be taken to your hotel in Agra. This is a famous tourist destination and is also part of the Golden Triangle tourist circuit that includes Delhi and Jaipur. In Agra you will be taken to see the iconic Taj Mahal, popularly referred as the symbol of love. This elegant mausoleum is made over the period of twenty years and you will be mesmerized to see its beauty. From here you will going to see the Agra Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is famous for its architectural grandeur. Here you will have an opportunity to see Diwan-e-Aam and Diwan-e-Khas. The rest of the day you can spend in the bazaars of Agra. Overnight stay will be in Agra.
Drive from Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri (244 kms)
This morning you will leave for Jaipur enrouting Fatehpur Sikri, which is a UNESCO World heritage site of India and has many famous historical monuments. Here you will visit the Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti and Buland Darwaza. After visiting Fatehpur Sikri, you will be driven to Jaipur. Jaipur, which is popularly known as 'the Pink City' is known for its royal heritage and has many places of tourist attraction. The city is known for some exemplary pieces of architecture, which you will get to see the next day.
Excursion of Jaipur city and Amer Palace
This morning you will start the sightseeing in the Jaipur city and your first stop will be at Amer fort. This is a magnificent piece of architecture and is built on a hill, the fort also has a temple dedicated to Goddess Sila Devi. The other important portions of the fort are Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, Sheesh Mahal and Sukh Niwas. Later you can ascend the fort whether by walking up the steps or by taking an elephant's ride. You will also be taken to the Maharaja City Palace, Jantar Mantar, the observatory and to the Hawa Mahal. You will also be taken through the pink Rose Garden where you can see the ultimate beauty of this city. The overnight stay will be in Jaipur.
Drive from Jaipur to Delhi and Departure (274 kms)
On the last day of your India Varanasi Tour you will be transferred from Jaipur to New Delhi airport from where you will board return flight. There will be no accommodation facility as most of the flights depart after midnight. Your 10 days India Varanasi Tour with Lucknow and Jaipur will come to an end and you can take home some beautiful memories, which you will cherish all your life.
