Day 01

Arrive in Delhi and tour of places to see in Delhi

Once you reach Delhi the tour representative will come to receive you at the airport or the railway station and transfer you to your chosen hotel. The day will be spent checking out different heritage sites of the capital such as Qutab Minar, Red Fort, Humayuns tomb etc. You must have a rickshaw ride of Chandni Chowk which is a famous shopping area located in Old Delhi. Try the street food such as Tikki Chaat, Matari Kulcha etc which will open you to real essence of Delhi. Take a drive past Parliament House, Raj Ghat, India Gate etc. these are symbols of modern India.

Day 02

Delhi to Jaisalmer overnight train

Once you check out from the hotel you have some time to see around. After lunch leave for the railway station to catch the train to Jaisalmer. The first train for Jaisalmer leaves around 4:40 PM so you will reach Jaisalmer late in the vening Camel ride on dunes of Jaisalmer is one of the most memorable experiences of this trip. This olden hued land beckons people from far and wide due to its enchanting feel. When you reach Jaisalmer you check into your chosen hotel. Rest for a while and then you can proceed for some sightseeing.

Day 03

Jaisalmer

After have your breakfast you can proceed for seeing the city. There are lovely colorful bazaars in Jaisalmer where you can indulge in some amazing shopping of handicraft items, souvenirs etc. Jaislamer is in fact a hub of art, culture, music, architecture and tradition. This Golden city is dotted with beautiful forts and places. Visit the amazing Jain temples and you will be blown over by their beauty. In the evening when the sun sets down you can go for an excursion at the dunes. Some people even camp at the dunes at night which is actually one of its kind experiences.

Day 04

Jaisalmer to Jodhpur by overnight train

The train from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur leaves in the evening. The train takes a duration of 5 to 6 hrs. Early during the day you can visit the Jaislamer Fort which is actually the oldest living forts across the globe. This fort is made of yellow stone so in the afternoon it shines as if it made of gold. This is the reason why it is called Sonar Quila. You must visit the havelis in Jaislamer. The most popular ones arePatwon Ki Haveli and Salim ki Haveli. In the afternoon indulge in some shopping at the colorful bazaars of Jaisalmer. In the evening board the train. Overnight you will be on train and will reach Jodhpur in morning.

Day 05

Jodhpur

In the morning you will reach Jodhpur where the tour representative will come to pick you up from the railway station and transfer you at the chosen hotel. Jodhpur is popularly referred to as Blue city as most of the buildings here carry a blue hue. It is actually the second largest city in Rajasthan. Off late Jodhpur has become a popular venue for wedding celebrations. In the afternoon proceed to visit Mehrangarh Fort which is one of the largest forts in the country. You must also visit Phool Mahal which was believed to be chamber of pleasure for Maharaja Abhaya Singh. Overnight stay is in the hotel.

Day 06

Jodhpur to Ranakpur to Udaipur by road

In the morning you will be taken to the Ranakpur Temples which are at a distance of just 98 kms from Udaipur city. Ranakpur has beautiful Jain Temples which were built way back in 15th century. There is this Chamuka Temple here which is dedicated to the fist Tirthankara, Adinathji. If there is time on hand you must also visit Surya Temple. After that you proceed towards Udaipur which is popularly referred to as City of Lakes. Stay in any of the good hotels around the lake in order to make maximum out of your stay. Overnight stay is in the hotel.

Day 07

Udaipur

In the morning leave for sightseeing expedition of the city. Visit City Palace which is a brilliant piece of architecture built by Maharana Udai Mirza Singh. It is located on banks of the very famous Pichola Lake, Then you can proceed to visit the Jagdish Temple which has this Indo Aryan style of architecture. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is a must visit site in Udaipur. Other key places to see in Udaipur are Fatehsgar Lake, Lok Kala Mandir, Sahelion ki Bari etc. Udaipur is also good for shopping. Some well known shopping areas in Udai pur are Hathi Pol Bazaar, Bada Bazaar etc.

Day 08

Udaipur to Jaipur by overnight train

Once you check out from the hotel you will still have time for some shopping at the colorful bazaars of Udaipur. But the colorful juttis, exquisite pottery, spices, handmade wooden boxes, and other handicraft items in the bazaars of Udaipur. If you are fond of street food try gol gappas at the Bapu Bazaar. Vist shilpgram which is a heritage village spread across an area of 70acres. This place will offer you the real feel of rural Rajasthan. Late in the evening catch a train for Jaipur. Overnight is in the train.

Day 09

Jaipur

You will reach Jaipur in the morning. In jaipur again check in to yuor chosen hotel. Rest for a while and then proceed to visit Amer fort. As the fort is huge you can opt for an elephant safari which is lot of fun. There are other forts in Jaipur which are equally magnificent such as Mehrangarh Fort etc. Other must visit places in Jaipur are City Palce, Jantar Mantar which was a royal observatory built by Swai Jai singh 2, Hawa Palace also known as Palace of winds etc. Overnight stay is in the hotel where you can enjoy some Rajasthani musical performances.

Day 10

Jaipur

You have a full day to explore the Pink City. You can even have a day trip to Fateh-pur Sikri or Galtaji which is known for its temples and holy water tanks. It is actually an important place to visit for the Hindus. Galtaji Temple is built in pink stone. other temples here are Sun Temple, Balaji temple, and Ramgopalji Temple. You can also visit Sanganer which is well-known for textile printing and lovely Jain temples. Shri Digamber Jain is one of the most popular Jain Temples. You can opt for some shooping of local stuff. Overnight is in Jaipur.

Day 11

Jaipur to Agra by train. Sightseeing in Agra

In the morning you will leave for Agra. On reaching Agra you will be transferred to hotel as per your budget. Agra is one of the most popular cities of the Golden Triangle circuit. People from all over come here for viewing Taj Mahal which is breathtakingly beautiful. Just avoid coming on Friday as Taj is closed for public viewing then, It almost takes a day to see every nook and corner of this magnificent monument. You must also visit Agra Fort which is known for its fairytale palaces such as Jahangir Palace and Khas Mahal. Overnight is in Agra.

Day 12

Agra to Delhi by train

You will check out from the hotel at 12 PM. Before you catch a train for Delhi you have some time which you can either spend visiting places such as Mehtab Bagh, Tomb of Itimad-ud Daulah etc or you can do some shopping in bazaars of Agra. Do not forget t o buy Petha which is a specialty in Agra. Later in the evening you should leave for the station in order to catch the train for Delhi. You will reach Delhi at night and you can check into your chosen hotel. Overnight stay will be in the hotel in Delhi.

Day 13

Departure

This day marks end of the tour. Before you proceed for your onward journey you can spend some time sightseeing or shopping. Visit to Swami Narayan Akshardham Temple is highly recommended as it is one of the beautiful pieces of architecture. You must take a boat ride here which takes you through 10,000 years of Indian history. The tour operator will transfer you to the airport or railway station as per your choice and future plan and from here you can proceed to your onward destination.
