Anantapur is a city in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India. It is the headquarters of the Anantapur District, and is the second largest district in India after Ladakh (district in the state of Kashmir). **Places of interest in and around Anantapur** Anantapur Clock Tower is in the heart of the city which brings back the memories of the Independence days during which it has been built.
